Meet Teal Davison

Co-Founder | Principal Interior Designer

Teal grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, in a home where creativity was everywhere. Her mom was a self-made interior designer, her dad had style for days, and their colorful family home was always full of laughter, conversation, and celebration. It’s where Teal first learned that great design is about more than beautiful spaces—it’s about how they make people feel.

That appreciation followed her through boarding school and college in Colorado, where she was always finding ways to make even the most temporary spaces feel like home.

After moving to the Pacific Northwest and beginning her career in sports marketing at Adidas, Teal discovered her calling through her first remodel-and-sell project. One renovation quickly turned into a passion for construction and interior design.

With more than 15 years of experience in ground-up construction, renovations, and interiors, Teal leads the design process at Teal & Scott, working directly with clients to bring their spaces to life. From big-picture concepts and material selections to navigating construction details, she’s the creative force guiding projects from vision to reality.

Teal believes the design process should be collaborative, approachable, and genuinely fun. She brings deep experience, a great eye, and just the right amount of humor to every project.

She lives in Portland’s Irvington neighborhood with her family and loves helping homeowners throughout the Portland metro area create spaces that feel distinctly their own.

Meet Wendy Scott

Recruiter by day, stylist by night.

Wendy’s creative streak started early. At the ripe age of three, she won her first coloring contest (the prize was a gallon of ice cream, naturally). From award-winning watercolors to an art scholarship at Oregon State University, creativity has always been part of her story.

Her career took her from marketing and Nike Design into the world of talent and recruiting, where she built a knack for managing complex projects, finding exceptional people, and making things happen.

After years of helping friends and family with their homes, Wendy turned her love of interiors into a business, following her own home’s feature on the 2022 Portland Modern Home Tour.

Today, Wendy helps keep Teal & Scott running behind the scenes while bringing her creative eye to styling, sourcing, and putting the cherries on top of projects. She loves the finishing touches—the art, the unexpected vintage find, the perfect mix of color and texture—that make a space feel personal and complete.

For Wendy, recruiting and design have more in common than you might think: understanding people, connecting the dots, solving problems, and bringing a vision to life.

Wendy lives in Lake Oswego with her husband and two young kids. When she’s not juggling family life, recruiting, and the behind-the-scenes magic at Teal & Scott, you’ll likely find her rearranging furniture, hunting for vintage treasures, or styling a bookshelf.
