January Picks
We’re officially in the full swing of the new year, and 2024 has already been a wild ride for Teal & Scott. We have so many amazing projects and content coming to fruition, and, although things are crazier than ever, we can’t help but feel so grateful to be here! As a true start-up rollercoaster, we have our fair share of highs and lows. One thing that has been a major high is building relationships with awesome brands, local and beyond. We thought it would be fun to share some of our latest picks from these brands that are carrying us into 2024!
WENDYS PICKS
FOR EVERYDAY
New West Knifeworks We first found these beautiful knives while prowling around Jackson Hole, WY. They come in a variety of colors and make the best gifts! We started with a chef’s knife in the color Lichen and every year we keep adding to the collection. We are close to having a full set now and we are so happy with them.
Lele Sadoughi My new obsession for the days I can’t wash my hair but need to be on camera or at a dinner with friends. These headbands are also fun for holidays or parties for an extra flare! This is a great everyday one and this is one I love for a pop of fun. You can also customize them for gifts!
FOR HOME
Hillary Sproat Blanket These blankets are so well made and so cozy. And can we talk about the design? Hillary is insanely talented! Soon you will see her art on wallpaper.
Room & Board Ecos Swivel Chair - It’s so embarrassing how many times I tell clients to buy these chairs–I have two and wish I had room to buy a thousand of them. I love the feel, fabric, and functionality SO MUCH.
Mantar Lamps Mood lighting is the name of the game, especially when hosting! I love these moody lamps that provide ambiance and a pop of color, especially in places with no electrical like bookshelves.
FOR HOSTING
Estelle Colored Glass It’s no surprise that I love color! At our cabin, we have these Estelle dark moody wine glasses in black, red, and caramel. In the city, we have a variety of bright colors! They dress up every occasion and it’s also great that people don’t get their glasses mixed up since everyone has their own color.
Madre Linen Napkins The fabric is so thick and the patterns are so fresh. I can’t get enough of this brand of linen napkins for an elevated dining experience. They also pair really well with Estelle glassware. If you are local to Portland OR, you can sometimes find it at Zupan’s.
Teal’s Picks
FOR EVERYDAY
Zara Lug Sole Loafer These will spruce up any outfit! I am so excited about these shoes, go with everything, give me a tiny bit of height, and go “toe to toe” with any millennial. Bring it gurl! Zara takes some sifting through, but I always find items that are long-lasting through the fad seasons.
Bare Home These pillows are supposed to protect from split ends and dry skin. I put them on MY pillows but they could be for your honey. Do boys really care?
FOR HOME
Dyson If you haven’t owned a DYSON cordless vacuum you literally have not lived. I have tried all of them over the years like a handheld black and d, you name it….this thing is light, has power, and I can take it up and down stairs like superwoman!
iMBG Don’t mess with me in the new year I make SURE I am organized and purged before the clock strikes midnight. I spend the last 3 days of the break throwing out expired items and chasing my family around for missing socks. This 2 tier organizer has gone in the laundry, bathroom, and under the kitchen sink. I love it!
CB2 This is a stylish stop if you're not trying to break the bank AND participate in some modern moodiness. This side table serves as a side table with color and girth that can stand the teenagers lean or sit.
Thank you Container Store! If I see another Instagram post about how dish soap, baking soda, and vinegar get every stain out I’ll freak out. SO, I started to use it! It works on sofa, rug, and pant stains. I have purchased all cleaning items in BULK and I store them in these Glass jars, scoop, use, and voila!
