Meet Teal and Wendy, the dynamic duo bringing creativity and hustle to new heights. We are so glad you are here to meet the minds behind the madness of our business!
Read below to learn more about how we met, how we are alike, how we are different, and what values we share. We will also be spilling the beans on what exciting things we have coming on the client side and the digital side of the business.
Shared Values and Work Ethic
Why did we come together?
What binds us together are traits that define our approach to both life and business: hustle, grit, and an unrivaled work ethic. We tend to operate at lightning speed, fueled by high expectations, but tempered with reason. We love our family, friends and travel more than work. And we love to work, which says a lot.
And then of course we also share an unapologetic willingness to pee on the side of the road, a testament to our practicality and resourcefulness. Just as we keep we our houses immaculately organized, our business thrives on structured systems and efficient processes as well..

Strength in Our Differences
While Wendy excels in operational finesse, Teal shines as a project management maestro. While most of our strengths are similar, Teal’s deep understanding of construction and design complements Wendy’s expertise in scaling businesses and finding the right talent and tools to help us get where we need to go.

How We Met
Our paths crossed in an unexpected place: a workout class. A bit of instructor-induced heat prompted a close encounter, leading to a realization that we were kindred spirits. Names were exchanged, professions revealed, and a coffee meeting swiftly followed.
After our initial meeting sparked a flurry of business ideas from name brainstorming sessions, and an infectious excitement that set the stage for what was to come. November 2022 marked the beginning of a journey where we explored our strengths, identified areas for growth, and envisioned how our shared strengths could bring our brand to life.
The strange ways we are alike continued as we realized we had the same business cards (which were very rare) and although different ages: we were married and had kids at the same ages. And our backgrounds at Adidas (Teal) and Nike (Wendy) also made us pause as we realized our backgrounds were very similar although over a decade apart in timing.

Then & Now
Everything came to a head in June 2023 with the launch of our digital platforms and website. By October of the same year, our business had its own bank account—a tangible sign of our growth. And by January of 2024, our first client construction project together.
Every month since has been a whirlwind of growth, learning, and creative brainstorming, We are excited for what’s ahead, as we continue to look at what’s working and what needs improvement:
CLIENT FOCUSED WORK
We are focusing on improving client facing efficiencies with new tools for renderings and to simplify invoicing and billing
We are working on a playbook! The playbook will help answer any and all questions that clients have, and also help new teammates understand how our process works every step of the way.
DIGITAL EDUCATION
This summer we are launching our focus on education coming from the lens of our projects. It’s admittedly been hard for us to figure out how to capture our project work, but we think we are now on a path to solving for how we can educate around the projects we are currently working on. That way you all can be brought along in our day to day more!
SHOP PAGE!! We just launched some of our favorite products from wallpaper to light fixtures. If you are looking for a small refresh in your home this is a great place to go for tried and true products we love!
And saving the best for last… we are soon launching “SHOP THE LOOK” where you can shop the rooms of the projects we’ve done. We will have many options from modern to traditional so you can furnish an entire room with our suggested looks without the lengthy contract with an interior designer.
