Artisan tiles, custom bold murals, and rich colors bring new life to this narrow space nestled in the Mississippi neighborhood.

An expansive floor-to-ceiling gallery wall with a mix of frames, paintings, and objects on a dark teal backdrop gives the stairwell character. The gallery was inspired by the client's existing art, augmented with paintings commissioned by a local artist, vintage finds from Oregon thrift stores, and some pieces the client found on vacation in France (while armed with a shopping list we helped her put together).
The office had a ton of natural light and large windows that brought the outside into the space. The goal was to keep the interior neutral to draw focus through the windows to the outside. Taupe cream checkered drapes and a brown leather chair add interest to the space without detracting from the beautiful views outside.
The kitchen features fluted artisan marble tile and modern decor that complement the client's existing white countertops and quarter-sewn white oak cabinetry. The pops of color and texture in the tile add interest without taking away from the simple beauty of the white oak cabinetry.
A moody accent wall paired with a custom art piece creates a fun, serene moment in this modern living room. The colorful accent pillows and a beautiful plant bring life to the space.
The client's blue velvet bed served us a base for bedding with complementary burnt oranges, light pinks, and neutral colors. Fabric the owner made in Japan was framed and featured on the wall to tie all of the colors together.
The project featured a bold, colorful mural by local artist Banyan Bridges in one stairwell and a floor-to-ceiling gallery wall in the other. The idea for incorporating a mural into the project came from the outdoor mural on an adjacent building and the client's willingness to push her boundaries in a fun way.
"Kind Kiss" by Miller paint was the star of the show in this bathroom. This whimsical color is paired with a checkered floor mat to tie all of the scheme together.
The fluted artisan marble tile backsplash is a stunner in this kitchen. The floating white oak wood shelves bring warmth against the tile, and the modern decor completes the look.
The primary bathroom incorporates another custom mural for visual interest and ties the bathroom together with the stairwell. It makes good use of the tall ceilings of the modern bathroom and what would otherwise be dead space.
A draping plant really makes the shot in front of this artisan-fluted marble tile!
The taupe-checked drapes, a plant, and framed art behind the desk pair nicely with the wood media stand. The contrasting wood species in the space work well together.

This vintage chair was reupholstered with an orange pattern to pop against the dark teal wall.
