SWEET FLAG CABIN
Vintage meets contemporary in this Black Butte Beauty. A tried-and-true log cabin styled for a young, playful family.

One of two guest bedrooms features a large modern quilt print, since quilting is a thing in Sisters Oregon. It's paired with a red metal bedframe from Room & Board to pop against the log walls, and a beautiful fur throw blanket to add texture.
The stone fireplace features a hearth made out of logs, with a Frame TV by Samsung to the right that looks like a painting so it blends in with the aesthetic.
In the kids' bunkroom we featured this beautiful wallpaper by Hygge & West with a red metal swing arm light fixture from Schoolhouse. The vintage sewing table acts as a desk for those who must work while on vacation. The desk chair was found at a local thrift shop.

We modernized the cabin living room by breaking up the logs with a dark green built-in wrap-around bench. The bench has a beautiful fir wood top on one side, and a Pendleton fabric cushion on the other. The bench provides a media center, drawers, lift-top storage, and ample seating. The Frame TV anchors the space with what looks to be a painting that fits the vibe.
This corner cabin moment by the back door features a green vintage table, art from a local thift shop, and a beautiful metal lantern.

The cabin game table (also used for arts & crafts for the kids) features woven chairs from Anthropologie, textured pillows, and a cozy fur throw blanket.
In the living room, we decided to go with a brown leather sofa that will last a lifetime! We paired it with modern accent pillows and a cordless lamp since no outlets are close by and the cabin is dark.
The cabin living room features modern decor, a stone fireplace, and a wrap-around bench. The media bench was added to connect two separate spaces (the game table and living room) with one side as the media wall with drawers and one side with lift-top storage and a Pendleton fabric cushion (washable blankets with zippers for an easy clean) for seating to watch sports or play games gathered around the table. A chandelier from Restoration Hardware creates a mix of old and new while keeping the cabin traditional.
This custom built-in "Green Essex" by Benjamin Moore takes a traditional home and modernizes it. The Pendleton fabric upholstery and modern pillows paired with a bright colored woven basket for shoes, makes for a great entry moment into the log cabin.
The guest room gallery wall features local art from Lark Modern and Bedouin, a custom felt flag, family photos and vintage finds.
The cabin bedroom features a log bedframe with a Pendleton blanket and modern nested side tables from Rejuvenation. The details we are obsessed with from the vintage painting of Crater Lake to the hat hooks on the wall to give more personality.
In the primary cabin bedroom, we embrased the western decor and made use of the space with all of the owner's hats. We kept the palette neutral (creams, browns and blacks) and popped with hints of red.
In the primary bedroom, we styled the shelf with modern cabin decor including antlers and a family photo that was sewn. The glow comes from a beautiful red and gold sconce from Sazerac Stitches.
The cabin dining room features a custom fisherman painting of the owner's late father. The artist was found on Etsy and it looks nearly identical to the photograph! We decided to frame in a beautiful cowhide to fit the style of the town.
